FindYourPup offers puppy discovery, buyer accounts, breeder applications and puppy listings. Certain services become available only after breeder approval or required third-party service activation.

Buyer accounts

Buyers may create an account, save preferences and bookmark available puppies. Information in listings comes from breeders and must be evaluated independently. An account does not guarantee a puppy placement or availability.

Breeder accounts

Breeders must accurately describe their programs, comply with applicable laws and submit to our review before publishing. Approval may be withheld or revoked if a program fails our standards or listing information is misleading. Account holders are responsible for keeping their credentials private.

Payment services

FindYourPup is not currently accepting puppy deposits, puppy payments, commissions or subscriptions. Our published marketplace commission is 4% of qualifying FindYourPup-sourced puppy placements. Third-party payment processing costs are separate, without a FindYourPup markup; the applicable charge and responsible party must be disclosed before a payment is completed. Payment services are activated only after required provider verification.

Protection and disputes

FindYourPup does not currently sell buyer-protection coverage, provide escrow, guarantee payment or reimburse chargeback losses. Buyer Protection & Support is a contractual transaction dispute-resolution program, not licensed pet or property insurance. Published prices and eligibility descriptions do not create coverage until a qualifying payment is completed with protection selected and applicable terms accepted. Claim submission does not guarantee reimbursement. No enrollment is available until the payment and claims service is activated.

Content accuracy

Listings must use accurate and authorized information. We may remove content and restrict accounts when needed for integrity, security or animal welfare concerns. Breeder-review badges refer to documented reviews, not guarantees of future puppy health.

Breeder Agreement

By signing, you agree to the following FindYourPup breeder commitments and operating policies.

Breeder application & review

Provide accurate contact, program, and location information. Describe breed-specific health screening, veterinary care, enrichment, and how you select homes. Approval requires a manual application review; we may request supporting documents before granting publication access.

Truthful listings

Only list puppies you are authorized to place. Represent age, breed, registry, health information, location, price and availability accurately. Update listings promptly when a puppy is reserved, placed or unavailable.

Health and animal welfare

Follow applicable laws and welfare obligations. Give prospective buyers accurate information about veterinary care, health screening and any known material health concerns. Provide the documents promised in your placement agreement.

Buyer communication & agreements

Respond clearly and respectfully to families. Explain deposits, refund conditions, transportation, timelines, and any health guarantees in your own enforceable agreement before accepting money. Do not misrepresent our platform as a guarantor.

Review, suspension & appeals

Applications may be held for more information or rejected if standards are not met. Accounts and listings may be restricted when serious complaints or documentation concerns arise. Contact the FindYourPup team to request a review of a decision, including supporting evidence.

Fees and payment availability

Breeder registration is free. Our published marketplace commission is 4% on qualifying marketplace-sourced placements. Third-party payment processing costs are separate and must be disclosed at checkout at the provider's applicable rate without a platform markup. Payment services are activated only after provider onboarding and approval.

Disputes and records

Preserve placement agreements, veterinary records, messages, delivery acknowledgements and payment receipts. FindYourPup provides a published dispute-review framework but does not currently offer escrow, chargeback reimbursement or guarantees of outcomes. Buyer Protection & Support applies only to eligible protected on-platform payments after the service is activated and selected at checkout.
